Sorting adalah proses menyusun elemen – elemen dengan tata urut tertentu dan proses tersebut terimplementasi dalam bermacam aplikasi. ada beberapa macam Algoritma sorting, dalam tulisan ini ada enam jenis Algritma sorting, yaitu : Bubble sort, Insertion Sort, Quick Sort, Merge Sort, Selection Sort, dan Shell Sort. pembuatan program menggunakan turbo pascal for windows.
